I wasn't very well this weekend, and though I had to admit defeat and stay in bed for most of it, by Sunday I was itching to make the trek in to town and pick up my marathon ready Nike IDs You can see how I made them here
And boy was it worth the trek, there's no tonic quite like a new pair of shoes.

Tonight I gave the wise words a go, and did my last (and overdue) long run before marathon day. I think I may have surreptitiously run further than I was supposed to tonight - just because I wanted to show off my fresh new kicks around town! Oops.
